Text Box: Greetings ASU Alumni     Welcome to the official website of the National Alumni Association Incorporated of Alabama State University (ASU)!  Our Association seeks to engage and mobilize the ASU alumni community by creating an organizational infrastructure to keep alumni connected with our Alma Mater and each other.  We hope this website enhances the ability of the Association to efficiently support the needs of the alumni.  Enjoy it, and use this tool to stay informed and connected with us.   The National Alumni Association was formed in the 1900's to provide a platform for ASU alumni to share their expertise and knowledge and to forge enduring relationships with their Alma Mater.  To that end we have been successful, but we need you to help us grow!  Alumni involvement is extremely important to any university.  Let us recommit ourselves and channel our efforts to support the institution that laid the foundation for this fantastic journey.  If not for ASU, where would we be today?   Alabama State University is only as good as its faculty, staff, students and ALUMNI.  I hope you will join me in working diligently to create a solid calendar of events designed to support our efforts to increase our membership, expand our scholarship fundraising program, develop new initiatives, recruit new students to our great University, provide service to our communities and to create a dynamic alumni.  Help us revive, rekindle and energize that Ole ‘Bama State Spirit.   Yours in the spirit of ASU, Brenda Kahn-Spells, '74 NAA President
